Logistics, Operations & Service
In this section, you’ll find the selection of our articles that have been written about our logistics, operations & service here at eventCCG.
Logistics, operations & service levels are all important
We realise that major event catering can be a complex and stressful operation, and so we know that the quality of the service you receive from your CCG supplier is probably as important as the quality of the products you receive. The last thing you need in the lead-up to a busy catering event is to be worrying about whether your order is going to arrive on time, in the right place, in the right quantities and in the right condition.
Quality of service, of course, begins right at the start of the process, whether this is you placing your order quickly and efficiently, or liaising with your dedicated account manager to determine which items are going to work best for your specific event. Service also includes the accuracy of delivery in terms of quantities, quality and timings by the logistics team, and then also the same in regard to collection when you have finished with all the equipment. In fact, service also includes the reporting and agreement of any losses and damages within 72 hours of us receiving the equipment back so that you can reconcile your accounts in a timely manner.
It’s this level of service that we believe stands us apart from others, and which we hope that you’ll experience by partnering with us for your major event catering.

You’ll find articles relating to our service commitment, the fact that we operate our own fleet of trucks driven by our own drivers so that we don’t have to rely on pallet networks, and articles on our state-of-the-art wash facilities and internal processes to ensure that our clients receive the very best tableware as part of our right-first-time commitment.
We hope that you find this information of use, and very much look forward to developing a long-term partnership with your stadium, venue or major event.
